The son of the late Oliver Queen, the first Green Arrow, Connor reflects his father's skills quite well.  However, he tends to be a more thoughtful, mature person, as opposed to his violent, womanizing dad.  Connor was nominated for League membership by Green Lantern after the two had worked together successfully on a couple missions of their own.  His first involvement with the League ended up being a bit premature, however, when he arrived at the Watchtower for induction and found the League captured and asleep at the hands of the Key.  Despite many heroes' belief that Connor's selection was based upon his father's reputation, the JLA found that the new Green Arrow was just as heroic as his predecessor.
